Welcome back. Four food-chain companies changed hands this week, from a Brazilian irrigation maker to North America's biggest food-testing lab network, and a soil biologicals startup picked up backing from Chipotle's venture fund. Washington also put $8 billion on the table for farmers' fuel bills. Here's what moved in agriculture between Saturday and Friday.

This Week's Paid Edition: Narrow Rows

Ownership changes held at 11 in both months, led by Hormel Foods' $1,055.0M purchase of Brakebush, while North America's share of activity climbed to 65.2% and Europe's halved. The edition closes with four dated signals to watch, from October's venture round count to the outcome of the BFG Supply auction.
